While Gabriele, Dario and Luciana receive the guests, Loris is busy managing the olive groves and the vegetable garden. Bringing vegetables, oil and olive derivatives to the guests’ table does not conceal pure commercial purposes but is meant to represent the pleasure of adding, in addition to human warmth, also that of sharing.
We want our guests to feel at home
The offer of hospitality, which has grown dramatically in recent years, raises some questions: is it a choice that comes from a sudden shock or dictated by the need to invent a new profession?
The decision of Loris and the Faraone family to open their home, “Villa Morghetta”, which has always been frequented by friends who have appreciated the warmth of their hospitality, is attributable to neither of the two alternatives.
A step therefore not imposed by necessity but almost taken for granted, resulting from a young but marked propensity to welcome.
A stone bridge, an exact copy in scale of the Romanesque one in Dolceacqua, leads onto the large terrace which also houses a recreational area.
Here the view no longer encounters barriers, the view opens up, the eye can easily immerse itself in the silvery green of the surrounding olive groves, reach and stop in the medieval village of Apricale.
